Abstract

Statistical accuracy is essential in biomedical research. While choosing statistical tests, certain assumptions are made. Among the assumptions for choice for parametric statistics include assumption of normality. The confirmation of normality of data under treatment is essential for the validity of the test procedure. The aim of this review is to highlight the common tests of normality and their suitability.
